The Canterbury Bike Ride returns to the Marine Travel Ground
The Canterbury Bike Ride is back, and once again the Marine Travel Ground will be at the heart of the action, hosting rider registration along with the start and finish of this much-loved event.
This year’s ride features three brand-new routes, approximately 25, 50, and 75 miles, offering something for riders of all abilities. Leaving directly from Canterbury Rugby Club, the routes will take cyclists through some of the most beautiful parts of the county, including the stunning landscapes of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
More than just a ride, the Canterbury Bike Ride is about shared purpose and camaraderie. Riders will be joining hundreds of like-minded individuals, whether cycling as part of a team or taking on the challenge solo. Many will be riding in support of charities close to their hearts, while others will be testing their own endurance. Whatever the motivation, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of crossing the finish line back at the club.
SCRUM Kitchen fuelling riders once again
For the second year running, SCRUM Kitchen are delighted to be catering for the event. After a hugely successful outing last year, when riders were welcomed back with warming chilli and a sweet potato and chickpea curry, the team will once again be preparing delicious food to help fuel both riders and spectators.
Whether it’s a pre-ride boost or well-earned recovery fuel at the finish, SCRUM Kitchen will be on hand to keep energy levels high throughout the day.
